Dr. Troy Fraser

At a young age, Dr. Fraser knew he wanted to help people who were sick and suffering with health conditions and become a doctor, but traditional medicine was not all that appealing to him. After having a series of motor vehicle accidents in his teens, Dr. Fraser visited a chiropractor to see if his injuries could be helped. Soon Dr. Fraser was not only feeling and functioning better, but his chiropractor explained to him about the human body’s ability to self-heal and self-maintain, all that was required was a nervous system (brain, spinalcord and nerves) that was free of any interference. Immediately, Dr. Fraser knew he had found his calling and life’s mission.

After high school, Dr. Fraser studied at UCC in Kamloops, now TRU. Then in 1997 graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Fraser then moved back to Kamloops with his wife to start a practice and a family. Fifteen years and four children later, Fraser Family Chiropractic has continually been evolving, developing new approaches to help people with their health concerns, and employing the latest innovations to correct people’s spine and nervous systems. What Dr. Fraser loves most about chiropractic is seeing the incredible changes that happen when the interference to the nervous system is removed, and his patients then begin to heal their conditions and disease, their bodies thrive to build health, and optimumly they begin living their lives with vitality and strength.

Why is today’s chiropractic so powerful?

Research has shown that chiropractic helps create balance and harmony between the Central Nervous System and the organs, muscles and systems of your body. A spine out of alignment will stress the nervous system. The nervous system controls all functions and healing.

Interference like poor posture, improper eating habits, a non-existent exercise regime, negative self thought and the habit of regularly using medication to just cover the symptoms of an unhealthy lifestyle also interfere with your body’s ability to heal.

Purpose of Adjustment: A very specific, gentle force is applied with the intent of removing interference from normal nerve transmission.

Objective of Care: To help create and maintain optimum position of your spine based on scientific norms as well as align your lifestyle with what it takes to produce health.

Assessment of Improvement: Seeing actual change in objective findings: X-ray, posture, sEMG, range of motion, etc.

Dr. Fraser has dedicated his life to helping people avoid early pain and death through care and education.
